A weekend of royally good fun!
This year the UK will celebrate the first coronation of a monarch in over 70 years when His Majesty King Charles III is crowned at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May. Across the three-day weekend will be a series of events that not only commemorate this historic moment but also honour and reflect the role of the monarch today and look ahead to the future.
H&F will be celebrating alongside the rest of the nation and wider Commonwealth with their own series of family-fun events centred around the larger national events.
King Street Coronation Party
Saturday 6th May 2023, 11am – 6pm, Lyric Square and King Street
Our flagship traffic-free street market returns with a Coronation twist. Alongside your favourites there will also be a live screening of the coronation on Lyric Square, a global food quarter, and a mad hatters tea party. This is a free event suitable for the whole family.
With over 100 food, drink and gift stalls, live music and themed entertainment for all the family, you'll be sure to have a royally good time.
